Small Limit (a once-a-year appendix pillar from Ming Gong and the flow year) takes Ming Gong branch + birth-year branch − flow-year branch, then stems from that flow year’s stem. You need Ming Gong first (mid-qi month palm rule). It is not Small Luck (from the hour pillar, forward/back by year-stem polarity and gender). Listed only; not scored.
