What Zi Wei Dou Shu looks at
Zi Wei Dou Shu divides life into twelve palaces: Life, Siblings, Spouse, Children, Wealth, Health, Travel, Friends, Career, Property, Wellbeing and Parents. Fourteen major stars and a set of minor stars are placed into them. The main star of your Life Palace sketches your basic temperament; the other palaces each describe one area of life.
The Four Transformations (Prosperity, Power, Recognition and Obstruction, or Lu, Quan, Ke and Ji) shift with your birth year and with every decade and year, showing which themes come to the foreground and when.
How we build the chart
Charts are calculated with the open-source iztro library and checked against fixed test cases. On desktop the chart uses the traditional 4×4 grid; on phones the palaces are listed one after another so they stay readable.
A note on use
Zi Wei and BaZi are two separate methods that are worth comparing. Results are cultural reference, not a promise about the future.
